Using Shiitake Powder♪ Zhajiangmian
The fried bean sauce tastes great not only with noodles but also with rice! Adjust the spiciness to your taste with the Doubanjiang (spicy bean sauce)!

Steps

Season the minced pork with A.

Pour cooking oil into the pot, add the Doubanjiang and stir fry until fragrant on low heat.

Add 1. to 2. and stir fry until the meat turns brown before adding B.

Once cooked, add C, and cover with the lid. Bring to a boil and turn down the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes to lock in the flavors.

Add the potato or corn starch slurry to 4. Once the sauce thickens, splash sesame oil over the top.

Boil the Youmian noodles and mix with 5. Top up with fine strips of leek, red chili strips, cucumber, and boiled bok choy, to taste.

Adjust the spiciness to your liking with the Doubanjiang.
