Greek-style Beef & Shiitake Tomato Stew
Dried Shiitake make Greek food taste so good! Plenty of onions and beef. Red wine vinegar and Marsala wine. The Guanylate in the Shiitake enhances the overall flavor and aroma of the dish.

Steps

Rehydrate the dried Shiitake and slice them.

Thinly slice the onions, finely chop the garlic, and cut the beef into bite-size pieces.

Heat up the olive oil in a saucepan, stir fry the onion from 2. until brown, add the beef, garlic, and squeezed Shiitake from 1., and stir fry.

Add 1/2 Tbsp red wine vinegar, A, and the Shiitake rehydrating liquid, cover with the lid, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

Add the remaining red wine vinegar and season with salt and pepper.

Serve on a plate with chopped parsley and sour cream on the side.
